We want everyone to be able to attend our classes!
In order for our schedule to run smoothly and accommodate our clients, we ask that you recognize the following policies.
Class Cancellation (by Client)/’No Show’ Policy:
A late cancellation is defined as any class canceled within the 12-hour window prior to the start time of the class.
A ‘no show’ is defined as any reservation that is not canceled and the client does not attend their reservation.
A late cancellation/‘no show’ fee of $10 will be charged to each client with a month unlimited package who late cancels or does not attend their reservation. Fees will be charged to the card on file at the end of each business week. If your card is not on file, one day will be deducted from your package. If you have a session package, you will lose that session.
After the first two charges of $10, the fee will increase to $15 per late cancellation/‘no show’ fee. If a client regularly (more than twice a week consecutively) late cancels or does not show up, the client will be put on suspension from signing up for classes for 48 hours. If a client must be put on suspension more than two times in one month, the client’s package will be terminated with no refund.
*If you want to change classes, you are responsible for cancelling out of the class you are changing from and letting management know so that you may be excused from a cancellation fee.
Class Cancellation (by Studio) Policy:
We require a minimum of 2 clients to be booked for a class to make. We reserve the right to cancel a class if fewer than 2 clients are booked. Clients will be notified of the cancellation no later than 3 hours before the class start time (early morning classes will be notified the afternoon before). You will be provided with alternate class times and we will work with you to find classes that work best with your schedule.
To prevent class cancellations, we encourage you to book your classes at least 24 hours in advance.
Wait List Policy:
If a class is full, you may be put onto a wait list. You will receive an email and a text informing you that you made it into the class when another client cancels their reservation. It is your responsibility to check your email and messages (don’t forget to check the Spam folder!). You will then need to confirm or cancel your reservation. You will not be charged a late fee, however if you do not show up you will be charged for a ‘no show’.
PLEASE NOTE that you will not be notified if you do not make it into the class.
Late Arrival Policy:
It is best to arrive at least 10 minutes before the class start time to ensure enough time to get situated before the class begins. Arrival 10 minutes after class start time will risk losing reservation to standby client and/or not being permitted into the class.
Our weather policy coincides with Mississippi State University’s policy. If campus closes, Midtown Pilates will close as well.
Appointment Cancellation Policy:
A late cancellation is defined as any appointment canceled within the 12-hour window prior to the start time of the appointment.
A ‘no show’ is defined as any appointment that is not canceled and the client does not attend their appointment.
A late cancellation will be charged half the price of the service to the card on file. A ‘no show’ will be charged the full price of the service to the card on file.
*This policy applies to all MP GLOW and PRIVATE PILATES SESSION appointments.
Emergency Cancellation Policy:
*Emergency cancellations include illness, illness or death of immediate family, and unforeseen circumstances pending approval by management. If you have an unavoidable emergency, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with “Late Cancel Emergency” as the subject or by phone or text to 662-722-1038.
*Please note that communication of late cancel does not guarantee exemption of the late cancel fee.
MP Treads Policy:
Reservations may be booked through your Mindbody account. The Waitlist Policy and Cancellation (By Client) Policy applies with a 6-hour cancellation window. The Emergency Stop Lanyard must be worn at all times while on the treadmill.
Heart Rate Monitor Policy:
Heart rate (HR) monitors are required to be worn during MPulse classes. It is vital for the instructor to monitor your heart rate during the class for your safety. HR monitors may be purchased in studio or rented for each class. The HR monitor rental fee is $3/class. The rental fee is waived for your first two MPulse classes. If you purchase a HR monitor, you are responsible for keeping it charged and bringing it to class. Failure to bring your personal HR monitor will require you to pay for a rental.
Membership Termination Policy:
Special circumstances for termination include member moving residence more than 20 miles away, severe illness proven by a doctor’s note, or death.
